After working on it for about 30 seconds, I decided to use VMWare in place of Xen. This decision was based on the need to have VMI (virtual machine image) portability to Windows, Apple, etc. I used this HOWTO to get it up and running in no time: VMWare Server Fedora. I will find a solution to the other problem anyway in the near future (Xen machines run faster anyway) and will do a complete post on it.
